Quick Throw: My Expensive New Toy Is Broken.

Oh what a last few days of the transfer window we are all in for. The excitement may kill me. Tottenham's new/old plaything Jermain Defoe has crocked himself in training. Spurs reckon he will be back in 3 weeks, contrary to early reports. I smell a conspiracy. A long term injury to Defoe will jack the price up on every striker within 1000 miles of White Hart Lane as Spurs search for a replacement to help save them from the fizzy league. They have already been sniffing around Robbie Keane in an attempt to lure the unhappy old Spur back to the good old days. Defore's injury is surely karma for all of 'Arry's January tap action. First there was Defoe, then Downing, then Palacios, then Fred and now Keane. Arry's tapped more people than Duke's Lacrosse team has tapped kegs. Meanwhile, Rafa's rage is mounting as he sticks a few numbers onto the end of Keane's want-a-way slip. You know he's going back to Spurs for more than they sold him for in the summer right. It'll all go down at 11.59 next Monday evening. Karma's a bitch eh Arry? An expensive one.

Adam,
I was figuring out the fixtures when you posted. Oh, and I had me at 8-2 this week, unless I edited my choices as I typed them in that night - pretty sure I had the Sund-FFC and Rovers-SFB results wrong...

OK, now to the choices...and, as always, garbage-in, garbage-out...

Stoke 1-1 Citeh
Boro 1-2 Rovers (I keep dreaming, but Teeth is in trouble)
Arsenal 2-1 Hammers (late winner)
Villa 2-0 Wigan
SFB 1-2 Spurs
FFC 2-0 Pompey (and Adams is well done)
Hull City 2-1 WBA
ManUre 1-1 Everton (yep)
Joe Fuckin Newcastle 0-1 Black Cats
Liverpool 1-1 Spartak (the ONLY possible outcome of this game)

I am surprised you boys went for 1-1 in the big match tmrw. Nil-nil would not surprise me as these are not the best matchs for the football supporter to watch. I pray Spurs win today, Defoe or no Defoe we need 3 pts with Ar***l next wk

I figured Ballack or Fat Frank were good for one 30 yard blast at some point, and I didn't see the Scouse outright losing at home...0-0 may be just as likely, but I'd wager a lot of money that the final will be a draw, regardless of goals...

Also, when did Citeh become Arsenal Jr? Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, misfire...

Uh yeah, so 1 right today. Not a good day for me.

If its any consolation, Webster over at Fox is 3-5, as is BBC's Lawrenson, and they get paid for writing their WAG's down...

What Webster knows about football can be jotted down in detail on the back of a postage stamp. irritating twat he is. Opinions on games should only come from people with experience to back up their talk. Otherwise we would all like his job. Since Webster never played he should shut up and focus on presenting instead of talking a load of bollocks. If FSC have any intention of being professional one day may I suggest they watch/listen to the BBc or Sky.

Don't disagree about Webster or FSC. He's just one of the few "paid web-writers" stupid/silly enough to post guesses on game results, which me and Adam are not being paid to do as well...

Yes! The EPIC 1-9 Craptacular...

You've just got to tip your cap to the teams, keep your head up, and take it one round at a time...
