Portsmouth have accepted a "substantial bid" from Real Madrid for midfielder Lassana Diarra. As if things weren't hard enough for Adams already... he'll lose Defoe and Johnson in less than a month too.

Dammit. I had really hoped to see 'Arry lure Diarra to Spurs. We need a strong central defender in the worst way.
Crouchaldinho may also be winging his way back to Villa Park, so I've heard.
Keith, what do you make of the rumors that RM is looking at Ashley Young as a transfer target? The fee would be monstrous, no?
So Pompey - sitting at eighth with twenty-three points - have decided to commit themselves to the Colaship for next season?
Has Gaydamak found a buyer?
The fee would have to be well over 30 mill. That said, I think O'Neill's already taken his position- the player's not for sale. And if "the player's for sale-- at the right price" is any indication of how O'Neill will act selling a key player, Real will have to pay Citeh prices for Ashley, and then they might as well buy the Portuguese Diving Team.
Man its a shame Arsenal don't have someone of his quality.
WOOOOO low hanging fruit!
Up yours Mike.
