UF Quick Throw: Santa Cruz is Coming To Town City

Man City long time target Roque Santa Cruz is finally undergoing a medical at Eastlands. He bitched and moaned, Man City bid for him again and again and now they have finally met Big Sam's valuation of the 28 year old Paraguay International. He will now join Bellamy, Robinho, Caicedo, Bojinov, Evans, Vassell and Sturridge as part of Mark Hughes collection of forwards. If you believe the rumors, then Carlos Tevez could soon be joining the list. Expect Caicedo, Boninov, Vassell and (young Welsh prospect) Ched Evans to head for the exit door.

Don't forget about Jo!

Oh man, Jo! But he's surely headed to Everton though aint he?

Besides, he's more of a backward than a forward.

didn't everton say they couldn't pick-up Jo's option? as in a "cannot afford" manner

There were rumors last week that Fulham would make a move for Jo.... Seems about as likely as anything.

God damit. Benjani! What is wrong with me today. Wow, maybe he will join Owen at Hull?

Adios, RSC. Looking forward to seeing you in MLS in a few years playing the role of Juan Pablo Angel...

(this was the only possible outcome of Sparky leaving before the season, so it doesn't even feel like "news")...
