We have received word from an unnamed source that the next two MLS teams are Portland and Vancouver. Official word to come next week. Stay tuned!

Awesome for the NW rivalries, too bad for STL (it sucks that "deserving" and "getting" aren't the same thing...but money talks, everyone else ultimately walks...)

St. Louis really was too little too late with the announcement that Anheuser Busch was going to get behind the team. I'd imagine they get a team in the next go around though.

I'm not even sure what that A-B announcement means, other than that there's an alternate stadium plan now. But why did St. Louis need another stadium? Wasn't that the strength of the bid in the first place?

I didn't even realize that A-B had gotten involved...

Basically A-B said that the MLS team could use an existing facility outside the city. Would be much cheaper than building a brand new stadium from scratch.

I wonder if the unnamed source's name rhymes with Beremy Aint Jewess...

Yes it might.... Some of the UF contingent thought he might get in trouble, even though the info is publicly available. They've been good to us this week so we figured better safe than sorry (I mean "sooory).
