That crashing sound you heard was the end of a relatively quiet transfer market. Sky Sports is reporting that Man City's executives are in Milan to open up talks for Kaka, and 'Arry Redknapp is in discussions on a deal that would bring Adriano to Spurs and Gareth Barry Bale to AC Milan Inter (yeah, yeah... what do you want, accurate reporting?).

Oh, joy. Spurs in for another striker.
Get some steel for the middle, 'Arry!
i believe Spurs have the rights to Mr. Bale, not Mr. Barry (I'm sure much to 'Arry's chagrin).
Maybe he should try to deal Gareth Keenan.
But who will be the Oggmonster's strike partner then? and he won't be able to go to chasers anymore either.
Man, I really screwed this one up... that's what I get for posting right before leaving work. It just wouldn't be a Spectator post without at least one egregious error!
Yeah, we pretty much raised the bar for egregious errors per word on this one. Oggy! Oggy! Oggy!
Oi! Oi! Oi!
"So, have you talked to Oggy lately?"
