Alan Gow, owned by Rangers, on loan to Blackpool, was set to make a permanent move to Wolverhampton after duly impressing Mick McCarthy. Unfortunately for Gow, he failed the physical. McCarthy describes it as "something bio-mechanical". What he heck does that mean, anyway? Your guesses in the comments, please. I'm flummoxed.

My guess is that it had something to do with a shaved Sasquatch, and Steve Austin the Six Million Dollar Man, wearing a wig and mustache made out of Sasquatch hair. Just a guess.
Norwich nearly signed him in the summer. He was at the training ground and it looked certain. Then we didn't! Hmmmmmmm. Bio-mchanical issue?
Felching tube?
Im blaming Platini
