UEFA U19 Championships

Thanks to commenter Mike Georger for pointing out UEFA.com's excellent coverage of the UEFA U19 Championships, which are currently ongoing. Liverpool reserve player Krisztián Németh has cut the ribbon on scoring in Hungary's match against Bulgaria. I'd like to point out that the UEFA U19 Championship is where Fernando Torres made his first big mark winning player of the tournament.

Hey, England sucks at this level, too. Down 2-0 in the 63rd to Czechs.

Watching matches is PPV, 2 Euros a pop.

god im awesome

england is down 2-0 to the czechs. no doubt this is the fault of all the foreign players in the EPL.

i still dont get how this tournament works in stages like it does (like the davis cup) but i guess this is the finals, nemeth is tied for the goal lead with some greek kid i think

Oh. Joy. Greece and Italy are playing. A bunch of kids playing cynically before they can even grow a beard. What I wouldn't give to watch this barnburner.

huh. Italy Greece ended in a 1-1 draw on an Italian penalty at 90 minutes. Imagine that.
