Professional sports is one of the last bastions of homophobia. Right, Justin Fashanu?

Good story for the American kid. Can't think of a better club or coach to begin a career.

Wait so the guys who play for the all gay team that don't want to be outed .... they somehow manage to keep the fact that they play for an all gay soccer team secret? I cannot fathom how that would be kept secret, even with small crowds.

Religion, the South, the Middle East, and probably many other places.

No team sheets. Small and supportive crowds.

If they had team sheets though, they'd be at least five hundred thread count.

I don't get it either. It's not like you become invisible when you step on the pitch.

Save maybe for Darren Bent.

Hey-o!

But yeah as Lingering quipped in the emails, the line-up sheet is usually: Smith; Doe, Doe, Smith, Doe; Smith, Doe, Smith, Doe; Smith, Smith

A hardy 'booo' to SBI for the reference to 'GOAL'.

It's like the Titus Bramble of sports movies. UGH.

You play for a gay footy club.

Playing for a gay footy club is still not as gay as actually enjoying Coldplay.
