UF Quick Throw: Breaking News at the Emirates

No, nothing on that on-again/off-again front. But the weather in London has officially postponed the Arsenal-Cardiff FA Cup replay that was supposed to be played tomorrow.

Yeah, just having some fun here as we await news on the Arshavin transfer marathon.

This weather is ridiculous! All the transportation shut down so classes were canceled today...so we all went outside and had huge snowball fights. It was kind of funny to see all the English students acting like confused little children because they've never seen real snow before.

I live in south London, and I was snowed in. None of the public transport was running, and my car died 2 days ago (not that the lazy bastard would have been able to make the drive anyway)

It was 3' deep in my garden, and when I threw the dog out(15'' at the shoulder) she sank. Suspected: dead.)

I missed a days work because of this crap. I moved down here from Scotland to avoid this evil white cold shit.

Even the trains?

The trains going through Wallington station were not running. Plus, it takes an age to get to work on the train from here.

I'd have to get to Clapham, then on to Raynes Park. Not worth the effort.

Trains would take 1-2hrs, bus about 45 minutes, or my car takes 25 minutes. When it wants to work, but I refuse to climb under the evil tempermental thing in this weather.

Is it wrong that the first thing I thought of when I read King Garry's post above was
this?

@hockalees - that is still one of my favorite television scenes ever. I called my car a vicious bastard when it broke down on the highway last September.
