pretty strong lineup for pool really. with the exception of degen theyve all seen decent league action.

i expect a win with torres and ngog up front.

And not an English lad in sight, Georger!

BackBergtt said...

well to be fair most of the young english players have been loaned out. darby should get some time though

BackBergtt said...

babel is pantsing this defense right now

BackBergtt said...

swear i just heard the 'steve gerrard gerrard' song

BackBergtt said...

KILLER defense from agger and dossena there

what a garbage performance
well at least there will be less of a fixture pileup

BackBergtt said...

FOR FUCKS SAKE

Mosher said...

Where the hell is Liverpool's defence? Three goals down before half time and not even a Champs League final...

If anyone wants to watch the match, it's bizarrely replaced the "puppy dog" webcam at http://cdn1.ustream.tv/swf/4/viewer.45.swf?cid=317016

utter domination. why didnt they play torres today... wait... what's that?

Bigus Dickus said...

Those are some nice puppies there.

Arsenal babies>>>>>>>>>>>Liverpool babies.

BackBergtt said...

they have one player under 20 years old playing today. i wouldnt exactly say these are their 'babies'

their 'babies' are pacheco, nemeth, bruna, etc who WONT GET ANY FUCKING PLAYING TIME BECAUSE THE RESERVES SHIT THE BED IN EVERY TOURNAMENT

Bigus Dickus said...

Georger. It's the Mickey Mouse cup. Everyone knows that you have to let Spurs do well in that. It compensates for the utter shit show they shower upon every other competition they participate in.

BackBergtt said...

i can deal with a loss in a bullshit tournament, im just upset with how fucking bad they are playing. all i want is for the young guys to get playing time.

plessis = the next momo

Mosher said...

Guys, apologies - just checked that link on another machine and it's showing the puppy-cam. Weird... I daren't close/refresh my browser window now as I've obviously got this through some weird cockup!

However, Setanta's coverage is available from:

at the moment, though it's a fairly jerky picture on my laptop.

Bigus Dickus said...

I thought Sosoko was decent.

BackBergtt said...

he was at first then completely went rick ankiel on everyone.
it appears plessis just peaked earlier. early as in his first game.

Mosher said...

Could this be another comeback... followed by extra time? Hey, it's entertaining for the neutral at least :)

BackBergtt said...

ugh. i was just starting to get work done and now they score. im not turning it back on unless its tied.

Some nice comments about Dossena from the Guardian minute-by-minute:

Enter your eulogies to Andrea Dossena here

Ronan Hayes: "Dossena looks like one of the guys you see on a Sunday morning who has had a skinful the night before and knows that if he exerts any effort he will likely chunder. Only worse."

Louise Smith: "Duffena is supposed to be our answer to Cashley, Clichy or Evra? Oh dear GOD."

Joe Holland: "Rafa could have bought 142,944 Dawson Creek box sets for the price of Dossena, and he would have had a princely £32.32 left - by your
reckoning good for 376 bottles of Lambrini. Hindsight is a wonderful thing." So is laughing your head off at the £7m gift that keeps on giving.

The bloke at Udinese who got £7m for him: "Ha. Ahaha. Ahahahahahahaha. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha."

Randy Denton: "I don't know who he is, but I like him."

BackBergtt said...

.... EVERYONE is the new momo

should get another ten goals or so based on what just happened

BackBergtt said...

how many copies of timecop is that?

BackBergtt said...

*bang*

Bigus Dickus said...

Georger. Didn't Ankiel come back up last season and start smacking balls out of the park?

Mosher said...

You could be right about those 10 goals...

BackBergtt said...

yeah that never happened for the purposes of that comparison because he got busted using performance enhancing drugs

BackBergtt said...

love the call of taking of torres for insua. game is over, he got some running in, thats all that matters. get insua some time because clearly this team needs a left back

BackBergtt said...

this could well mean the end of lucas and el zhar's anfield careers really. lucas just hasnt lived up to the billing, and el zhar is a bit old to be rattling in the reserves. room is going to have to be cleared for the attacking kids that are moving up to melwood sooner or later.

Bigus Dickus said...

Want Adam Drury?

BackBergtt said...

id take traore at this point

this has got to be one of the worst expositions of goalkeeping ever witnessed that didnt include scott carson

BackBergtt said...

oh please god let chelsea lose and take all the attention away

BackBergtt said...

Ade Akinbiyi? you have got to be shitting me

BackBergtt said...

degen may suck but he apparently has murdered gomes, so hes got that going for him

Mosher said...

At least Blackburn are still winning *touches wood*

The Fan's Attic said...

i don't want to know about Mosher pleasuring himself.

Mosher said...

Any time the mackems lose is a pleasure, tfa...

Bigus Dickus said...

...and Akinbiyi is not even a starter for them this season. Chelsea done by a Burnley reserve. When he was at Norwich at the start of his career he would be scared shitless of the goal. The ball would be put through, he would be one on one and he'd turn and wait for support. People would scream SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.

BackBergtt said...

word is he got booked for taking his shirt off celebrating. totally worth it.

BackBergtt said...

the guardian: How is that not a penalty?

bbc: No way on earth is that a spot-kick.

lol

BackBergtt said...

well what a waste of a tournament

i feel a shakeup in the reserve and youth ranks coming. the reserves have played like dick all season long, thats not gonna cut it. especially with all the alleged young talent waiting behind them

BackBergtt said...

chelsea down to ten men for extra time. ruh roh.

BackBergtt said...

ahahahahahaha

Mosher said...

What was the Liverp... ah, who cares? Chelski are out. Along with the mackems ;)

As happy as I am about Spurs' continued success, allow me to say:

GOMES IS FECKIN' PANTS.

Ye gods. The man makes me miss Robbo. Even Cesar's geriatric ass looked more imposing an confident.
