The Red and Blue Scouse face off in the Merseyside Derby, and the Liverpudlians at UF are nervous about their chances today. How will things go when the Reds and Toffees get it on? Join us below the jump for an open thread and match commentary (by you).
Liverpool start with:
Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Hyypia, Aurelio, Gerrard, Alonso, Riera, Kuyt, Torres, Keane.
Subs: Cavalieri, Dossena, Benayoun, Arbeloa, Babel, Mascherano, Lucas.
Everton start with:
Howard, Hibbert, Lescott, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Arteta, Neville, Pienaar, Cahill, Anichebe.
Subs: Nash, Van der Meyde, Castillo, Rodwell, Jutkiewicz, Gosling, Kissock.
Sadly, the afro puff of Fellaini will be missing today as he is under suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards.
Your match today will be incompetently reffed by Howard Webb.

Nice dive Timmy.
It feels like Webb does more LFC games than anyone.
That wasn't a card, god Webb is horrid.
Wow...only 2 posts at half time. I guess the local Scousers are either too frightened to comment, or more than half drunk at the local pub.
Meanwhile I'm one of the few people in the States actually working today. And considering I'm still not 100% sure who to pull for here, I'll be like the Arctic Monkeys and settle for a draw.
That was a penalty. But I'm not going to blame the refs for this performance when it is so much more fun to blame Rafa and Kuyt
And boom goes the dynamite
GOD DAMNIT
season done.
Well it was nice while it lasted. When they lose at OT United will be at least six points clear. This is so much worse than the usual season of just sucking ass the first half and squeaking back into fourth, I don't want to do this anymore.
Holy Crap, that was, as FSC would say, "Shambolic!!" defending on the Toffee's goal. Yikes. You lose track of the greatest danger on the pitch at that point in the match? Skrtel acts like he's passing Cahill off to Hyppia, while Hyppia refuses to move off Lescott? Really? Wow...
Watching the HBO Inauguration special, they had some women sing "You'll Never Walk Alone." I couldn't help thinking that Anfield does it so much better.
Given this thread and the email thread, I am quite surprised to find out that the game was a draw. Until I saw Gerrard score on Fox Soccer Report, I thought Everton won 1-0.
