Don't forget that Wolves/Birmingham clash! A huge result for whoever wins in that top of the table clash, although of course it ended in a draw!

Also, weird to have a Saturday with none of the big 4 participating. Tomorrow is going to be a bloodbath; Manchester derby, a London derby...

Villa could go 3rd if they pull out a win, so that's fun.

...and screwed by the ref. A ref who fails to send of Tudgay when he fouled hoolahan in front of an empty net 6 yards out but he can send off Kennedy for nonsense. Outrageous. Now we don't have a defender for Ipswich at home. One prick has now spoiled the next two weeks. Oh and Tudgay scored their third, shouldn't be on the pitch. Sickening.

having seen a few Newcastle matches, I wouldn't mind if Arsene went after Bassong in the January transfer window.

And the fog on the pitch made for an interesting second half in that derby.

I've only been watching the EPL on a regular basis for about 3 years, but Sunderland turned in the worst defensive performance I've ever seen at this, or almost any, level. They gifted Elmander with 3 different 1 v GK chances, and he only converted once, so the 4-1 score actually flatters the Black Cats. It very easily could have been 6 or 7 instead. They had no shape as a unit, and then compounded that with totally incompetent decisions and misplays. It was a complete mental and physical capitulation, and I really have to wonder if something is seriously wrong in their locker room, whether its Keane or something else...

Also, the fog in the PNE-BC game is making the end of the Boro game look bright and sunny. Even the shots from the sideline make it clear that the fog has made it to ground level - I'm not sure a GK can see the opposite goal...
