Monday Backpasses: Where does the time go?

So, yeah. We, collectively, got to fuck all today. Here are some links to tide you over until we come back with a vengeance tomorrow. Promise.

Dude, why couldn't Jozy's hat trick have been during a league game? He's in my La Liga fantasy team!

I actually liked the McManus story, though I have no idea how good he was in the SPL. I'm not a huge MLS fan, but that may ultimately be the route to success here - finding players who are willing to try a lesser league in a different environment, but who then discover what life is like here in the US, and are willing to unofficially "recruit" their ex-mates...

And I wondered how our insane size relative to most of Europe translated...pretty much as expected...

That said, I was hitting it from before the start of the Dynamo game yesterday, and I was coherent by 11 am or so today...slackers...

Holy shit, they have La Liga fantasy? I don't think I've ever seen anything but EPL. Then again I haven't really looked hard.

@jjf3-McManus looks to have been a journeyman in Scotland. That said, he's never been on my radar, so I can't say exactly how good he was over there.

Ahh, nothing like an ass-play comment at 1:15am, Georger.

Excellent start for Jozy. Good for him.

@Precious Roy - Yahoo has a league, but the whole page is in Spanish, which is a bit of a difficulty if you don't actually speak it. Which I don't.

Georger, that bill is not indicative of most NYC bars. At Nevada's, where I watch my footy, 6 gets you a Smithwick's, and I'm pretty sure Amstel would run you 4. I'm sure it's the same at the Kinsale, amirite LB?

And at some places in Brooklyn, 5 or 6 will get you something along the lines of a Sly Fox Incubus or really nice Tripel.
