In lieu of putting up two posts for your weekend footie comments, especially considering the Sunday one isn't very well-trafficked, consider this your one stop shopping point for letting everyone know just how right or wrong you were about this weekend's games.

100 dollars to whoever gets me coffee and donuts right now.
So, what, if anything, have I missed so far?
nothing really. good pressure and possession by liverpool but no shots on goal. cahill should have scored off a corner but flubbed it, terrible marking again. crap card on fellatioani.
From the guys who brought you 'Jimmy Bullard looks like the guy that dies from AIDS in Trainspotting', its the new blockbuster 'Phil Neville looks like Tom Hanks at the end of Philadelphia'
basque on basque violence must stop. another terrible booking. i wonder why refs arent respected?
What about "Robbie Keane looks like a guy who used to score for Tottenham, but he's obviously not"?
/cue 2nd half brace
how is there noone on this fucking team with the club in their bag to take a goddamn corner well?
robbie has actually been having a good game, he made one mistake on a first touch but he and kuyt have been doing well
I tell you what. I sure do love seahorses right now.
I actually think the ref is letting a lot go. There have been a number of obstruction calls that he hasn't made.
Also, I have the commentary in Italian, and the announcers clearly referred to Lescott as "Worf from Star Trek"
Yeah, that had better be a yellow. Worst dive I've seen in a while.
Harsh on Torres there, I think
that was a little harsh on 'Nando.
good god why do i always get stuck behind the lady using coupons for every item at the store. all i wanted was a vitamin water and donut and it takes fifteen minutes. its too early for this crap.
dissent my nuts riley
YES BABY!
keane will be juuuust fine
the espn phillipines stream here is in english, great quality. and its mister gray.
cue the Torres song.
holy shit
hahahahaha
form is temporary, class is permanent. thats right andy
good lord - he almost had a 3rd
wow that was a horrible call on dirk. and i was about to compliment the call on the waived off goal too. oh well cant get them all.
I don't understand, why not just watch it on Setanta, on the 56" screen like me?
"News just in: Wayne Rooney is on the bench for Manchester United at home against Bolton. "
hahahaha oh man fuck him
@Eladio - because, despite my weekly calls/e-mails, Comcast still does not have Setanta.
Fackers.
aww poor whittle timmy cahill's feelings are hurt :(
BUH BYE TIMMAH
you cant turn your back and walk away from the ref like that after that kind of tackle
not a red
yeah, I think that was only a yellow for Timmy. But he's a douchebag anyway
given the tone of the game and the ref im not shocked with it. but to me it looked like cahill turned his back and grabbed his nuts.
can pennant get a straight red in three minutes? stay tuned!
@Georger -
Cahill: Foul? What about my CDs?
Riley: CDs?
Cahill: See Deez Nutz!
Sadly, Pennant stays clean for his first three minutes.
very very good second half. thrilled with the result, especially considering there was no mascherano and still reina was never forced to make a save.
"because, despite my weekly calls/e-mails, Comcast still does not have Setanta."
yeah but at least we get the big ten network now so i can watch mid nineties wisconsin/minnesota games all day long.
oh yeah and the awesome comcast network with their hard hitting news team and action sports coverage of division three college football
its comcastic!
Alright, got the Aberdeen game up, let's see how long I can stand it.
@NY Kid: You know, all you had to do was ask and you could come over and watch it at my place. I even made waffles this morning.
Pretty much the only reason I have DTV is for Setanta. I thought I heard a rumor that FIOS was (or already is) carrying Setanta, but according to their website they don't.
You'd have to hold a gun to my head to get me to go back to cable.
you cant stop cisse, you can only hope hes drunk and falls down
man. ashley young is going to be scoring goals like that for united for the next ten years pretty soon.
I missed waffles, Paul Newman dies, and Chelsea is winning?
This does suck.
HT round up in Scotland
Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen
Inverness CT 2-1 Kilmarnock
Motherwell 0-1 St Mirren
Dundee United 1-0 Hearts
Falkirk 1-0 Hamilton Accies
I will say that, despite giving up the goal away to Celtic, Aberdeen have looked the equal or better of their hosts. Time to keep up that perfect away form, boys.
I'm at work this morning, and the only things keeping me going are the huge coffee and West Ham being up 2-0 over Fullham at the half. Could this be our first away points of the year?
Pretty ugly game, West Ham had no shots on target until the two goals in the last few minutes of the half, and Fullham has picked up 3 yellows and a red now. You can now go back to watching/discussing matches people actual care about.
Why does Roy Hodgson hate America so much?
Good to see Riley is keeping himself on top of his fantasy EPL reffing league. Shit call on Cahill. And it's really fucking hard to make people want to defend Cahill.
WOOOOOOOOOO!
1-1 Aberdeen
Cross from the right evades all defenders. Back post volley from Mulgrew!
WOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Wow, WTF is wrong with Man U? I know there is a half hour left, but still.
Oh, there it is.
1-0 Man U
CRonaldo from penalty spot.
2-1. Fucking A
Aberdeen go on top on a 30 yard free kick from Mulgrew who beats Boruc near post.
This ones for you Georger, this is from my phone midway through the Chelsea game, but apparently ESPN has a time machine and found out how some of todays games would finish already. Its also like this on the table on the soccernet site.

Boo.
2-2 in Glasgow
And Aberdeen miss a breakaway at the end. 3-2 Celtic FT
tough way to go, umlaut. Sympathies on that one...
I'm off to watch an Arse/Dynamo double-header whilst consuming as much Harp as my liver can take (plus a few for the road)...
Last week, Eboue shoots too many times when others have a good look, this week, he doesn't shoot when he has a good look. Get him off the freaking pitch.
So I went to the Richmond Arms. I've watched Arsenal play 2.5 games of football there and score exactly zero times.
So I left the Richmond Arms.
I should note that half was today hosting Hull with Eddie Izzard roaming the sidelines.
GOOD LORD! Geovanni crushed that.
Likes: Winning; Cape Cod Robust Russet Potato Chips.
Dislikes: Losing to Hull City; dribbling in the box for 1/3 of a game and not shooting.
ugh. i placed a bet on hull to win and chickened out on the confirmation page. im such a coward.
It seems like Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is always beating the Dons with a late winner. Strachan will have some interesting decisions to make up front on Tuesday. The leading goal scorer in the SPL, last year's leading scorer, or the guy who scored two goals on the weekend.
I'm okay with it if it's a screamer, but this was just such a dinky goal (for JVoH). One of those that just squirts away and dies over the line. It's so frustrating to compare Celtic's three goals with Mulgrew's two fantastic efforts, knowing that if Aberdeen had a slightly better keeper or defense, and this game is three points to Aberdeen.
Relegation form yet again for my Spurs. It'll be a surprise if Juande survives the week. He trotted out yet another odd, ineffective lineup today and his fascination with Zokora and BAE is going to cost him his job.
Oh, and Belhadj is in dire need of a good kicking. I imagine he and Judas get along well over at Pompey.
Milan derby = yawn
