Caption Competition: When Jose met Phil

The Daily Mail, despite being largely rubbish, has done well with this scoop showing Jose Mourinho meeting with Phil Neville and a "friend" (I'm guessing it's a translator... for Phil, not TSO) in a Manchester hotel last night.

It obviously wasn't a menage a trois, but what exactly was it?

The best way to figure it out is a good ol' caption competition... well, more of a dialog competition. What are these two talking about?

Give us your best efforts and win yourself a guest post, and maybe a soccer book or two if I can find some that haven't been mercilessly cliff-noted and underlined.

Caption Competition - FA Cup

Michael Nelson gets familiar with team mate Jamie McCunnie.

The FA Cup is well under way, but we have a shock already today! Hartlepool of league 1 have beaten Premier League side Stoke 2-0. To celebrate such a giant killing, here is a picture from the game. As you can see, Michael Nelson got a bit excited about the result! Leave your captions in the comments. I will pick a winner on Tuesday. As always, the gift of free speech is up for grabs in the form of a post on UF. Good Luck.

Caption Contest Winner!

No I had not forgotten, but rather hoped that time would provide us with an obvious winner. You've all let me down again. I am not sure how much disappointment I can take, so that's why I asked Lingering Bursitis to select the winner of this one.

The winner of this one (as chosen by Lingering Bursitis) is: Bergkampesdios.

"Hava Nagila! Hava Nagila! Happy Yom Kippur, from Wayne & Stevie"

Well done fella. As always, your prize is free-speech.

A guest blog here on the greatest site on earth.

Please submit your offering to unprofessionalfoul@gmail.com. Let's hope it's better than your caption.

Caption Competition-BJ Edition

Ok..Ok..So I obviously picked a duff image as last weeks efforts were..well lets just say CRAP. But a winner I must choose....

Well this week I was disappointed to say the least. All of you smart and funny footy fans and the best you could do was roll out one blow job joke after another...

The NY Kid said...
This is taking the "Respect the ref" campaign a little too far.

Goat said...
"You heard me. If you don't want a red card you know what you have to do."

American Villan said...
I'm going to call you 'Sepp' the whole time, is that alright?

Precious Roy said...
"No, you dummy. It's your hands that you're not allowed to use."

Mayor Menino said...
YOU get off your knees, YOU are blowing the game

Graceland said...
"Look, I'm doing YOU a favor. There's only one way you're going to score today."

I liked this one from Keith. "Gavin Mahon (pictured, kneeling) gets a closer look to research the claims of Coventry supporters(not pictured)"

But the winner by a country mile was Matt with this gem...

"QPR ref? You know...Quick Pecker Rub."

Well done Matt. You get to guest blog here at U.F. Please submit your best effort to Unprofessionalfoul@gmail.com

Another caption next week.

Caption Competition

Here we go again, it's caption time! Leave 'em below.

The Prize? Free speech! That's right, the winner gets to guest blog here at the 'numero uno' footy site on planet Earth (I'd say the Universe but there's a good Ipswich blog based out of Uranus.)

This week's picture features Gavin Mahon of QPR and the referee (do any of them deserve name recognition?) from the match at Coventry last Saturday.

Good Luck!
