After the goalstravaganza of yesterday, I'm sure we're in for a slew of cagey 0-0 draws. It's not like anyone's watching anyway.

  5. wow that was perfectly timed. nice one robbie, nice one.

  6. keane shouldve buried that, nice cross

  7. Hmm why would Keane and Berba want to leave us??!! 3 goals btwn them thus far. Nice finish by Keano.

  8. i think berbabent should change his name to RomanBent.

  9. even better dive by riera.
doesnt he look like he should be tying a broad to traintracks in some stock footage from the thirties?

  10. second dive yellow of the game. maniche. ref is doing a great job keeping them all honest. unless their was a sniper, that was a bad dive.

  11. I don't like to make a habit of agreeing with Tommy Smyth, but both of the yellows for diving have been utter bullshit.

  12. Riera got tripped, an the fellow from ATL got kicked. Niether should have been granted a penalty, nor should they have been given yellows for diving.

  14. i disagree but maybe because im watching on a stream and dont have the clearest picture

cant you get a card for embellishing though?

  15. Berba left us because he knew he could only get away with offside goals if he were wearing a ManU shirt.

Keane left because he knew Ramos was a bleeding fool, which is the same reason Bale, Bentley, and Hutton will be gone.

  16. Not sure about the card for embellishing, Georger, though is that's the case, then the last one was justified. He got kicked, but reacted as if he'd been shot.

  17. i was about to ask why you erased that post but now i see, gotta catch em all!

im sure there will be bitching that keane was offsides but that was too close to call i think. unlike yesterdays 'goals'

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yeah, Keane's was way too close, but then again, I'm fairly biased when it comes to Keano.

After yesterday's debacle, I propose that SAF be banned from bitching about officials for the remainder oft he season.

  19. Aguero on for ATL. Smyth's been pining for him the entire first half. I think Tommy's got a bit of a crush.

    ReplyDelete
  20. gotta say that was the right call on that one. damnit.

    ReplyDelete
  21. on second thought, i think it was wrong

oh well, makeup call i suppose

    ReplyDelete
  22. Smyth is fucking stooge. He says Keane, who was pretty much even, was off, but Benayoun, who was 3 yards off, was "too close to call."

And that's a curious substitution by Rafa. Thinking ahead to Saturday maybe?

  23. gamecast says keane out with groin injury.

    ReplyDelete
  24. arbeloa is getting worked like a two dollar whore out there.
but as the only defensive subs are darby and aurelio ....

    ReplyDelete
  25. That's a pretty suspect offside call there.

And Tommy is really laying the Aguero love on pretty thick right now.

    ReplyDelete
  26. madrid is going to score (and it will count) soon. damn

    ReplyDelete
  27. My God. I don't know if Kyut could have been more clumsy and inept with that. Ye gods, that was ugly.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The more I watch Kuyt, the more convinced I am that he deliberately plays bad football to lull his markers to sleep. Then, when they finally stop caring about him near the box, up he pops with the winning goal and subsequent knee-slide celebration.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Holy crap, Kyut can't even keep i his feet. Oaf.

    ReplyDelete
  30. and there it is. terrible defense. way to give it up, jesus.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Slick finish from Simao there.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Like it really matters. That said, this is the result PSV and Marseille would have wanted, as it gives them a faint hope of catching up.

    ReplyDelete
  33. nothing wrong with a point from this game, if they can manage that, but giving it up that late is awful

    where the hell was agger?

    ReplyDelete
  34. that wasnt offside either. this has been a terribly called game.

    ReplyDelete
  35. and im pretty sure babel was offside there even though he got a rectal exam from a boot

    ReplyDelete
  36. Agreed, Georger. Officials tonight have been pants.
