Who knows how true it is, as it does come from the Daily Mail, but apparently Oguchi Onyewu is set to move to Birmingham City. It is on a free, as Gooch had completed his contract with Standard Liege. Hopefully, he will find Birmingham free of racism.

Liam Ridgewell is about as good as anyone Gooch partners with in the USMNT, so this constitutes a lateral move.
